Data we collect

We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site. Google Analytics collects anonymised data such as:

This data is anonymised and cannot be linked to you as an individual. IP addresses are anonymised before storage.

Independence and funding

hvilkenAI has no affiliate agreements, sponsors or commercial partnerships with the AI providers we test. We receive no commission, discounts or benefits from any model provider. All recommendations are based solely on test results.

The service is funded by subscription revenue from Pro users and advertising — never by the providers we evaluate.

Payments, email, API and logs

If you buy Pro access, payment is processed through Stripe. hvilkenAI does not store card numbers or full payment details. For newsletters, reports or transactional email, your email address and necessary delivery status may be processed through Brevo or a similar email provider.

When you use API, MCP or logged-in services, we may store technical logs such as time, endpoint, status code, subscription tier and short internal identifiers. Logs are used for security, troubleshooting, abuse prevention and capacity management.

AI processing and third-party models

hvilkenAI evaluates over 350 AI models and presents the best results. The benchmark runs against third-party model providers through APIs. Standardised test tasks and model responses are used to calculate ranking data.

If a feature asks you to enter your own text, that feature should state whether the text is sent to a third-party AI provider. Do not enter sensitive personal data, secrets or confidential material in such fields unless you have assessed the provider and privacy risk yourself.

The site uses cookies from Google Analytics and Google AdSense. You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Note that this may affect the functionality of some websites.
